MAGDALENA BAY
Magdalena Bay, or more commonly known as Mag Bay, lies on the west side of Baja California Sur along the Pacific Ocean, about 185 miles north of Cabo San Lucas. This remote, wild region offers scuba diving, freediving, blue water diving, and seamount exploration, where large pelagic fish like striped marlin, tuna, and wahoo roam.

The inner coastal dive sites are teeming with lobsters and tropical fish, while the open-water zones are perfect for blue water bait ball diving, bringing you face-to-face with schools of striped marlin and sharks. Divers may encounter schools of pelagic fish, giant manta rays, mobula rays, whale sharks, blue whales, humpback whales, fin whales, and sperm whales.
Dives run both southbound and northbound out of Puerto San Carlos, depending on the season, to take advantage of optimal conditions. This is a true paradise for photographers, filmmakers, and big-animal enthusiasts.
